DAY 21 - BUFFALO, WYOMING

DAY 21 - SUNDAY, JULY 7, 2012

Wonders never cease.  This morning after attending Mass in Buffalo, we came back to our RV,
to change into Bluegrass Festival attire.  While I took a minute to check our e-mails, I glanced
out of the window, and there were wild turkeys parading across the road, here in Deer Park.  Not
exactly the wild life we have been looking for, but nonetheless, exciting to be able to photograph
up close.   I just had to be sure I was careful where I put my feet, as they left their little surprises
all over the ground.  At first it reminded us of the Canadian Geese droppings we had seen in the past.

Note:  The Tom has a beard that is hanging under his chin.

After the Festival concluded at 4 o'clock, we bid our new friends farewell, and thanked Ray from Pico de Guyo, who had prepared our lunch special,  for the past three days.  He reached the point of calling us by name on Sunday.  He wife graciously took our picture under their
rainbow umbrellas, with their colorful Traveling Kitchen in the background.
They also have a restaurant in Buffalo, WY, and will be at many festivals this summer.
Of course, we highly recommend Pico de Guyo's offerings for lunch or dinner.

TACO SALAD

for third lunch.

Okay, here you are.  Photos from Margos Pottery and Crafts, at One North Main Street, Buffalo, WY.  We made a special stop there, thanks to the recommendation of Ruth, a friend who has been reading our Blog, and owns property very close to where we are.

NOTE:  Neither Russ or Rita's
image in the mirror, is part of the artwork,
just a fun way to prove we were there!
Their clerk, Margaret was so nice to humor us,
as we snapped all these pictures.
Good thing for us, that it was a quiet afternoon in Buffalo, WY.

You can see more of their wares at:

Time to be "on the road again".
Check out DAY 22, when we travel from Buffalo to Cody, Wyoming.
