JULY 11, 2012
This morning during my prayer time, our phone rang at 6:20 AM MT. I could not help but wonder if something back home was amiss. No, it was the Fantasy RV Tours office calling to get our correct e-mail address. While I had Julie on the phone I mentioned our smoking wheel on Monday. After I hung up, I wished I had asked for Fantasy's recommendations of a reliable Service organization, since the Ford dealership and another they recommended, were both booked solid this week, and could not help us. Less than ten minutes later, the phone rang again. It was Julie calling back. This time I did ask for help, and she gave us the name of a troubleshooter couple who act as "Tailgunners" on Fantasy RV Tours to this area. Russ and John talked for about 40 minutes. (That was our first taste of being taken care of by Fantasy). It was so comforting to me. Russ proceeded to make a few phone calls and ended up locating CHILDRESS Garage who was willing to take a look at 1 PM today.
So, the highlight of today was experiencing God's help through Julie, John and Childress Garage.
To top it off, just before dinner was ready, we had a few minutes of driving rain, followed by a full rainbow. What a thrill to get this picture. Rainbows have always reminded me of the scripture about God's promise to "always be with you". He sure was today, in getting us the help we needed. We are told our truck will be ready to roll in the morning.

We took time to return to Buffalo Bill Historical Center to see the Plains Indian Museum,
today. Some stories are portrayed through the artwork, that acts as a memory keeper,
of what took place during the 1800's. One story was told by
drawings and paintings on Buffalo hides.
I was impressed with the decorative artwork on the clothing on display,
especially the bead work on animal skins.
I find handwork when I am quilting to be difficult,
and I am only pressing the needle into cloth.
The Indian women had deer and buffalo hide to go through.
We concluded our visit to the Buffalo Bill Historic Center
with a visit to the Chuck Wagon out front.
"Buffalo Bill" was acting as Chef, and Russ
tried some of his Beans prepared in a kettle
over an open fire. He also had some
delectable looking Cinnamon buns in
a pot, but we both resisted them.

This was our second encounter with Buffalo Bill.
He visited our table at the Irma Hotel, last night,
to wish Russ a Happy Birthday. He had
a Birthday treat send to our table to help Russ celebrate.

the Irma Hotel.
This nightly event is a fund raiser for the benefit
of the Charities in Cody. Part of the group rents chairs for $2 each,
and the Cast puts on a half hour drama of the Early Days in Town.
After dinner we walked across the street to the Theatre,
for a delightful performance of Cowboy Music
featuring Dan Miller and Company. Many of the
songs were familiar, and the audience was
encouraged to sing along. The
dinner and theatre package was a
perfect way for us to celebrate
Russ' birthday.

We sure enjoyed our time in Cody, Wyoming
Tomorrow, we will be "on the road again"
heading to Jackson, Wyoming, where
we plan day trips to Yellowstone and
the Grand Tetons National Parks.
Your prayers for our safety would be appreciated.
