PART TWO

SUNDAY

In the afternoon, we drove to CARMEL BASILICA MISSION.

It was a 33 mile drive via US 101 North onto US 156 North

for 24 miles.  We passed Strawberry fields,

 and traffic backed up for six miles on US 101 South.

  Because of the Sunday traffic,

 it took us almost one hour to get there. 

 

We were there 90 minutes,

enjoying the

 Museum, Church and Gardens.
