We drove five miles from our campground to
San Juan Bautista Mission
for 10 AM Mass.
I will let these pictures tell you the
story of our visit.
We stayed after Mass and had
a wonderful conversation with
the Organist,
Ed Groff,
who asked about a classmate
of his, Fr. Dave Mura.
I was pleased to say that
I had volunteered during his time
as Director of Teen Retreats
in the 1980's.
I could not resist taking this picture
of the flowers in the garden
showing through the window
in the Organ Alcove.
My first opportunity
to take a picture of a
Cactus flowering,
was in the Mission Garden.
This Bell was in the Center of the Garden
