AUGUST 24, 2012 - ON THE ROAD AGAIN

We began our day on CA198  West,

 then CA99 South to Barstow, CA.

We covered 212 miles between 10:28 AM and 4:19 PM. 

It seemed to get hotter by the mile,

with temps in the shade at 100 degrees,

by the time we parked at SHADY LANE RV CAMP.

 

In the Mojave Desert

this is some of the landscape.

 

 

 

 

 

I said to Russ,

"They seem to be "DOUBLE DIPPING"

with these OIL DRILLS

in the same fields with Vineyards and Orchards."

 

 

This Farm seemed to have turned

into a Windmill Farm.

 

 

 

The mountain ridge were studded with Windmills.

 

 

 

A peaceful COOL blue view,

to end our HOT ride.

 

 

Our site at SHADY LANE had

an ATHEL pine along side of it.

That is the second tree.
